YOUTH

SUMMER

Pioneers Patch.png

Completed Grades K-2

Spend time experiencing nature, swimming every day, playing games and learning more about Jesus. A camp counselor will be with you and your cabin mates the entire time. Together you will walk through a creek, cook a marshmallow over a fire, and sleep in a lodge or cabin. Sit next to your new friends at a campfire as you sing songs, pray and hear about Jesus. Laugh together while making a fun craft, play a silly camp game, or join your cabin mates on a hike through the woods. Each day there will be new adventures, Discovery Bible Study with your cabin group, plenty of time to write letters home, and outdoor time for kids just like you. Put your stake in God’s creation during Pioneers Summer Camp!

Your summer is about to change with a week away at camp. Learn about nature during a creek walk or hike. See which one of your new friends can make the biggest splash during your daily trip to the pool. Every day you will be spending time with your cabin mates and a fun, energetic counselor while learning about Jesus in Discovery Bible Study. Climb the 40-foot tower and ring the top bell this summer! Work together as a group while you maneuver through a difficult challenge course. Walk into the woods, build a basic shelter together, cook your meal over the fire and sleep under the stars while spending the night outdoors. Cast your line into our pond while fishing or make a craft to bring home. Clear the way for new adventures and unique activities during Pathfinders Summer Camp!

Western Riding Patch.png

Pull on your boots, saddle up and get ready to ride! We will introduce Western Riding techniques and horse care while experiencing the best parts of Summer Camp. Monday - Thursday, you will travel to the off-site stables to ride and take care of the horses. Take a break and jump into the pool. Get together with your cabin mates, hike to a campfire, and worship with all the campers. Get creative in the craft cabin and make new memories while singing your favorite camp songs. Spend time together in Discovery Bible Study and shine your light during candlelight worship. This unique week of camp focuses on horseback riding, equestrian education and horse care while still engaging in everything camp has to offer. Don’t just ride a bike this summer, ride a horse!

Campers will build stronger relationships and learn about faith in the Lutheran tradition while engaging in camp activities. Enjoy the 40-foot climbing tower, zip line, one high ropes course element, archery, hiking, cooking over a fire, and arts & crafts. Campers will be assigned to a cabin counselor. You will swim, worship, and participate in team builders. Confirmation camp allows church leaders to spend time with their youth and enhance their confirmation programs.

Consider combining your congregation’s confirmation experience with one of our classic summer camps. The confirmation students will participate in all camp activities with other campers. During Discovery Bible Study your Pastors and adult Leaders will have the option of leading your confirmation class or having your confirmation campers integrated with other campers who will have a camp counselor lead Discovery.

This program has a relaxed schedule so you can hang out with friends while experiencing all the activities of camp. Climb to the top of our 40-foot climbing tower, zip down through the woods, take on the high ropes course, swim in the pool or conquer our challenge course. Spend time with the Bible, help lead worship and share time in prayer. If you have a cell phone, feel free to bring it along to be used for scavenger hunts, star gazing and video contests. Build a sturdy shelter, make a meal over the fire and spend a night laughing and singing under the stars.

Trail Guides Leadership.png

Completed Grades 10-12

We are excited to train and equip the next generation of camp leaders. Spend two weeks at camp engaging in leadership development activities. June 20-25 is spent alongside the Senior High Campers where you will enjoy all the best parts of camp while receiving leadership training. Return for a second camp week of your choice spent with hands-on assisting summer staff with a cabin group. You will participate and learn basic leadership skills on the climbing tower and high ropes course. Further develop qualities that exemplify strong Christian leadership as you grow and walk stronger in your faith. You may start the week as a camper, but you will leave a Trail Guide!
