"What do you do the other days of the week?" was a frequent question I received from those who do not work at the church. There are people who sincerely believe that church staff work only on Sundays or they work the hardest on Sundays. Well yes, Sunday is a busy day and there is a lot to do, but church workers still work a full week.
Here is a sneak peak into the normal week of most church workers ...hmm where do we start... meetings, home-visits, planning time, study time, impromptu pop ins, curriculum planning, major events, outreach, volunteer projects, time in the community, new member classes, staff meetings, e-mail checking, new idea surfing and of course time in prayer
This may or may not just scratch the surface.
Let me get to my point. You have enough on your plate. You don't need another retreat to program, plan, implement and teach. We want to help. At camp, we offer several youth retreats, but one that most congregations either do on their own, or try to do on their own.
The Confirmation Retreat
We want to take this one on for you and we have been for years and years. We put together a little promo video for you to view and see why our retreat is different. The benefit to you is very simple.
We plan it. You attend and help out with your kids.
