Summer Camps

Every summer, we offer Summer Camp for children, teenagers, families, friends, pastors and congregations.

We are proud to have facilities that teach people about nature and more importantly their faith in Jesus Christ.

Below you will find information about Camp Luther at HopeWood Shores,

HopeWood Connect combines the best of outdoor ministries and congregational ministries to bring camp to your church. Sponsor your own week-long day camp utilizing HopeWood Outdoors camp counselors!

Whether you plan your own retreat or bring a group to one of our programmed retreats, we are ready for you.

There is a place for you at our camps!

All are welcome; adults, children, families and youth groups - God is present for all at our camps.

Plan, run, and implement your own retreat on your own schedule.  We provide the bunks and you decide the following ~ Activities (3 included), Schedule, Curriculum, Etc.

HopeWood Outdoors runs year-round retreats for all ages. We plan and teach everything throughout the retreat. Whether you are an adult or a youth camper, we know you'll have a blast at a HopeWood Outdoors retreat!

Serving others is at the core of Christianity. Come as an individual or bring a group to help serve at camp while growing closer to God.

If you need help coordinating and running a retreat and want to keep things closer to home, consider bringing a retreat or event to your church.  We will assist planning and leading.

Festivals, Schools and More

LMC at HopeWood Pines is host to 2 special community festival events.  Spring time brings the Maple Syrup Festival and the fall  celebrates the Apple Butter Festival. Both events are open to all ages.

Environmental education enhances what is done in the classroom because it provides a framework for understanding and research . Many schools put this into their curriculum as a core value.  We are sure you will see the benefit for your students.

An EcoEternity Forest is an alternative green burial concept. Memorial trees are chosen as final resting places for the cremated ashes of individuals, families, or friends. Memorial trees are usually selected by personally visiting an EcoEternity Forest.

Free Services to the ELCA
