
Summer Camps
Every summer, we offer Summer Camp for children, teenagers, families, friends, pastors and congregations. We are proud to have facilities that teach people about nature and more importantly their faith in Jesus Christ.
Below you will find information about Camp Luther, Lutheran Memorial Camp (LMC), and LOMO Outreach.
We offer youth summer camps at Lutheran Memorial Camp (near Mt. Gilead). Summer Youth Camps are offered for K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, 9th-12th as well as confirmation summer camps.
The majority of our family camps are offered at
Camp Luther, right on Lake Erie, however we also offer
Family Camp weekend at
LMC (Mt. Gilead) .
LOMO Outreach combines the best of outdoor ministries and congregational ministries to bring camp to your church. Sponsor your own week-long day camp utilizing LOMO camp counselors!

Retreats
Whether you plan your own retreat or bring a group to one of our programmed retreats, we are ready for you.
There is a place for you at our camps!
All are welcome; adults, children, families and youth groups - God is present for all at our camps.
Plan, run, and implement your own retreat on your own schedule. We provide the bunks and you decide the following ~ Activities (3 included), Schedule, Curriculum, Etc.
LOMO runs year-round retreats for all ages. We plan and teach everything throughout the retreat. Whether you are an adult or a youth camper, we know you'll have a blast at a LOMO retreat!
Serving others is at the core of Christianity. Come as an individual or bring a group to help serve at camp while growing closer to God.
If you need help coordinating and running a retreat and want to keep things closer to home, consider bringing a retreat or event to your church. We will assist planning and leading.

Festivals, Schools and More
Spring brings the Maple Syrup Festival at LMC and Fall is celebrated with LMC's Apple Butter Festival. You can also enjoy special days at camp with a Spring Family Day, Mother's Day Lunch and a Gaga Ball Tournament!
Environmental education enhances what is done in the classroom because it provides a framework for understanding and research . Many schools put this into their curriculum as a core value. We are sure you will see the benefit for your students.
An EcoEternity Forest is an alternative green burial concept. Memorial trees are chosen as final resting places for the cremated ashes of individuals, families, or friends. Memorial trees are usually selected by personally visiting an EcoEternity Forest.

Free Services to the ELCA
LOMO offers personal retreats for ELCA rostered and professional church staff in Ohio. LOMO also offers free day events such as church picnics, worship services, and staff meeting spaces for ELCA congregations. These events do not include programming or food service by camp staff. Dates are based on availability.
