Tiered Pricing Explained

We understand that families have differing abilities to pay, so we’re offering a voluntary, two-tiered pricing structure to better accommodate financial needs. Please select the tier you can afford to allow our camps to stretch our funding and continue to improve the quality of each camper’s experience.

  • Tier 1 Pricing - This fee most accurately reflects the actual cost of camp. We ask families to pay this amount if they have the financial means.

  • Tier 2 Pricing - This subsidized fee has historically been our “standard” rate, but does not represent the true cost of camp. This fee is subsidized by 30% through donations from individuals, congregations and synods. This amount is for families that cannot afford the full fee, yet still want to participate in a camp program.

Financial Gifts

Camperships: Your assistance in providing a gift for a camper in financial need will be greatly appreciated. Each year thousands of dollars are needed to provide Camperships. Please include your Camperships gift amount on the registration form. Your gift is tax deductible. 
 

Summer Youth and Family Camps

Registration Information for Youth and Adult Campers 

  • Youth and family summer camp registrations will begin to be accepted at noon on January 23rd. 

  • You may register online at www.lomocamps.org using a debit or credit card - or by mailing your registration form with your deposit to LOMO Registrar, 863 Eastwind Drive, Westerville, Ohio 43081. Registrations by phone, fax or e-mail will not be accepted.

  • Your registration is complete when both your deposit and completed registration form are received by the LOMO Registrar.

  • Monthly payment plan: You may arrange a monthly payment plan with LOMO so your camper fee will be paid in full by May 31. Contact the LOMO Registrar at 800.431.5666 to set up a payment plan.

  • Campership requests: Ohio residents in financial need are eligible for one campership each summer; financial need is based on the US poverty guidelines. The campership application may be found online at www.lomocamps.org/forms or contact the LOMO Registrar at 800.431.5666. Mail your completed application to LOMO Registrar, 863 Eastwind Drive, Westerville, OH 43081. After you have been approved for a campership, you may register online at www.lomocamps.org with your financial deposit.


Deposits, Payments, Refunds and Cancellations 

  • All registrations need to be accompanied by a financial deposit. 

  • Youth Summer Camp Deposits: A deposit of 50% of the Total Youth Summer Camp Fee is Required. 

  • Family Camp Deposits: The family deposit of 50% per adult needs to accompany the registration form. 

  • After March 31 your deposit is not refundable, but it is transferable for the same individual to another summer camp program within the same summer if cancelled 2 weeks or more prior to the date of the camp you are registered for and if space is available. Prior to March 31 your deposit is refundable minus a $50 processing fee.  

  • COVID-19 refunds: If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the beginning of your camp program, you may contact the LOMO Registrar to cancel your participation and request a refund minus a $50 processing fee per person. If LOMO cancels a program due to COVID-19, campers may request a refund minus a $50 processing fee or donate your payment to LOMO.

  • All camper fees need to be paid in full by May 31. 

  • Late registration: People who register after May 31 will need to pay in full when they register.

  • Late notice of cancellation: People who do not let the LOMO Registrar know in writing two weeks in advance that they will not be coming to camp will be responsible for the full cost of the program without refund or transfer. Exceptions may be made in the event of hospitalization of the camper or the death of a family member.  

  • Anyone who uses a paper registration form will pay a $50 fee after March 31. 

 
 
 

Retreat Registration

To Register

Individuals and families may register online at lomocamps.org. You may also register through the mail by downloading a registration form at lomocamps.org/forms and sending your completed registration form and payment to the LOMO Registrar at 863 Eastwind Drive, Westerville, Ohio 43081. Registrations by phone, fax or e-mail will not be accepted. Full payment is required with your registration. 

  • Retreat registration fees are non refundable, exceptions may be made in the event of hospitalization of a camper or the death of a family member. 

  • COVID-19 refunds - If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the beginning of your retreat, you may contact the LOMO Registrar to cancel your participation and request a refund minus a $25 processing fee per person. If LOMO cancels a program due to COVID-19, retreaters may request a refund minus a $25 processing fee or donate your payment to LOMO.

  • People who need to cancel for health reasons and do not let the LOMO Registrar know in advance that they will not be attending the retreat will be responsible for the full retreat fee.

  • Please register a minimum of two weeks in advance. The two weeks is needed to recruit program staff, order food and put final touches on an awesome program. LOMO may need to cancel a retreat if we have not received a sufficient number of registrations two weeks in advance.

  • After You Register - Download a welcome letter which includes a tentative schedule, a packing guide, health forms and directions to camp. This letter can be found at lomocamps.org/welcomeletters. Within three weeks prior to attending your retreat, download the latest information on FAQs in Light of COVID-19 at lomocamps.org/COVID-19FAQs.

Register Your Congregation for Summer Camps or Retreats

Online Registration

Congregations may have members of their churches register and pay individually online.  Online registration is easy even when your congregation helps off-set camp fees.   If your congregation plans to help off-set the price of camp, ask LOMO to create a custom congregation code that will allow families to register online and receive the benefit of your subsidy.

  • SELECT the amount per camper that the congregation will pay.  This can be a dollar amount or a percentage of camp fees. 

  • DECIDE if use is unlimited or restricted.  If use is restricted, do you want to cap funds at a certain dollar amount or do you want to limit the number of campers who use the code?

  • CONTACT the LOMO Registrar to obtain your custom code.  E-mail registrar@lomocamps.org or call 800.431.5666.

  • INFORM families to use the code at the time of online registration.  Camp fees will be automatically reduced by the amount the congregation will pay.

  • PAY the congregation’s portion of the fees with a single check payable to LOMO.  The Registrar will send each congregation an invoice at the end of the summer season or following the retreat.

 

Paper Registration

Congregations may choose to complete a church group registration.  

  • For Summer Camps:  Church groups need to register prior to March 31st to avoid a $50 late paper registration fee per camper.

  • For Retreats:    Church groups need to register at least 2 weeks prior to the retreat date to avoid a $10 late paper registration fee per camper.

 

Complete and mail the following items to the LOMO registrar at 863 Eastwind Drive, Westerville, Ohio 43081.

  • Church Group Cover Sheet

  • Individual Youth Registration Form for each camper that includes their parent/guardian’s signature

  • Adult Registration Form for each pastor/adult chaperone attending

  • Payment with one check that pays for all campers and adult leaders in full

After You Register
