The purpose of the "Camp Connectors" program is to connect the camps and programs of LOMO with members of Lutheran congregations.

The goal is to have increased participation from each congregation with LOMO.

This is your invitation to become a LOMO Connector.

The ideal Camp Connector candidate will:

= Have a passion for Lutheran Outdoor Ministries through their camp experience at Mowana, Luther, Lutheran Memorial or LOMO Outreach.

= Have a willingness to learn about all LOMO programs

= Be comfortable communicating with congregations through Temple Talks at Worship and Openings for Sunday School

= Have access to the internet and e-mail

= Want people of all ages to experience the Good News of God's Love through outdoor ministries.

The Camp Connector responsibilities include:

= Participate in a training event

= Identify and plan visits to Lutheran Congregations in your area - the amount is up to you and can be as few as 1 and as many as 5.

= Utilize LOMO tools including a Temple Talk outline, program fliers and videos at your church visit.

= Be available to answer questions regarding camp programs and how to register.

= Stay connected to families and campers who may be considering registering for camp.

= Provide your contact information for follow up questions from the congregation.
