Family Camp

Family Camping is more than just a great vacation!  Expect your week at camp to be among the best vacations you have ever had.  We provide a joyful Christian community where families and staff interact in worship, play, laughter, Bible Study, prayer, crafts, sports and more.  Expect both action-packed AND low key!

Imagine eating three family style meals together every day and experiencing family togetherness and growth that is incredible!  Imagine recreation, worship, singing, interaction, and a constant smile on each face.  You don’t have to imagine……..it’s right here in Ohio!  Campers are spiritually renewed.     

            All people are welcome to family camp including single adults, couples, parents and children, and grandparents and grandkids! 

Family Camp Weekend
          This is the perfect opportunity for families to experience the natural beauty of camp.  We understand that a full week away isn’t always possible each and every year, thus we designed this special weekend to give families quality time together.  We supply the food, fun, meaningful programming, and a setting painted perfectly by our Creator.

            Be renewed at the air conditioned Fleming Falls Retreat Center where each room has two double beds and private bathrooms.  Enjoy all the activities of family camp and be prepared to experience God’s love and joy. This is a 5 night family camp vacation at the “Inn”.

Family camp maximum charge is $1240.  Half week rates are half price for all ages.

Camp Mowana  June 29 – July 4

Camp Luther Weeks 1 - 8
            Located on the shores of Lake Erie, CAMP luther is designed exclusively for families.  You will be able to choose from many activities, all topped off with a “sunset made to order.”  Each family week begins after 2:30 p .m. on Sunday and ends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.  You will leave camp on Saturday renewed in God’s love and an extra skip in your step!

Finnish Heritage Week - August 10 -16
            We offer the same programming as we do for our eight family weeks, but in addition, we celebrate our Finnish heritage with unique food and programming. We even have special worship services in the Finnish language.  These are our special friends and loyal servants who helped to start the original Camp Luther!  Our prices are significantly reduced for this week in order to honor our Finnish ancestors, therefore no further discounts apply.

Adult R & R - August 17 - 22
            The name says it all!  Come for a wonderful week of rest and relaxation.  We will offer morning discussions, prayer and Bible Study with our afternoons left unstructured. Evenings include an informal worship and time spent together playing board games, making crafts and good old-fashioned fellowship.  This week begins on Sunday after 2:30 p.m. and ends Friday at 10:30 a.m.

A minimum of 12 campers is required for this week to be held.

Fee: $150 per person with a  $75 deposit due by August 1, 2008.
