Diving DeepThis retreat offers a unique opportunity for women to "dive deep" into their own life experience in order to discern the presence of God in their lives. Personal reflection, contemplative prayer, journaling and art activities will all help participants experience fresh insights and discover new sources of spiritual energy. This retreat is led by Pastor Karen Thompson of Bowling Green. Pastor Thompson is an experienced retreat leader and trained Spiritual Director. The retreat begins at 5:00 pm on Friday and ends at 12:00 noon on Sunday.

 

The fee is $169 per person double occupancy in the Fleming Falls Retreat Center. ($105 additional for single occupancy)

Crafters Retreat 2012 PDF Print E-mail

 

CraftersWhether scrap-booking or jewelry-making is a passion or simply something new that you'd like to try out - this retreat is the perfect opportunity to gather in a beautiful setting with other Christians who have similar interests! In addition to having lots of time to work on your own hands-on projects, there will be time for fellowship, recreation and worship. Vendors will be on-hand to provide assistance and sell any needed supplies. The retreat begins at 7:00 pm on Friday and ends Sunday afternoon.

 

The fee is $150 per person double occupancy or $200 single occupancy in the Fleming Falls Retreat Center.

Fall Colors Journey 2012 PDF Print E-mail

 

Fall ColorsThis annual "rolling retreat" follows a new and different itinerary each year. This year's theme is:  'Magnificent Lake Michigan: A Fall Colors Journey'.  Travel is by comfortable motor coach, and accommodations are of a ‘Comfort Inn' standard. It is led by Eric and Kris Kretzmann from Camp Mowana, and Pastor Bill and Mary Wilkins from Salem, Ohio. The trip is typically for six nights and seven days, and features a variety of excursions of particular natural or historic significance.

 

October 2-8, 2012 departing from Camp Mowana

 

The fee (to be announced) includes all transportation, lodging, baggage handling, group excursions and many of the meals.

 

This is a truly unique outdoor ministry experience!

In Gods TimeDo you feel like you're always running out of time? Do you experience the stress and anxiety of "too much to do and not enough time?" This retreat is a unique opportunity for you to step back and develop ways to manage your time - not just carefully, but prayerfully. Explore the spirituality of time and what it means to live in God's time each and every day. The retreat leader is Pamela Czarnota from Brecksville. Pamela is an Associate in Ministry who is trained in Spiritual Direction. The retreat begins at 7:00 pm on Friday and ends at 4:00 pm on Saturday.

 

The fee is $66 per person double occupancy in the Priebe Retreat Center.

LOMO Men's Retreat 2012 PDF Print E-mail

 

MensEveryone needs to get away now and then; even Jesus regularly went away with "the guys!" This retreat is a great opportunity to spend some fun, yet meaningful time away with other men. The focus will be on "checking-in" - checking-in on your faith, on your questions, and with God. There will be Bible study, worship, recreation, time for personal reflection, and of course, naps! The worship and study leader is Pastor Gary Eichhorn of Our Savior Lutheran in Dayton. The retreat begins at 7:00 pm on Friday and ends at 12:00 noon on Sunday.

 

The fee is $94 per person double occupancy in the Priebe Retreat Center.
