Diving Deep Women’s Spirituality This retreat offers a unique opportunity for women to ‘dive deep’ into their own life experience in order to discern the presence of God in their lives. Personal reflection, contemplative prayer, journaling and art activities will all help participants find fresh insights and discover new sources of spiritual energy. This retreat is led by Pastor Karen Thompson of Bowling Green. Pastor Thompson is an experienced retreat leader and training in spiritual director. The retreat begins at 5:00 pm Friday and ends at 12:00 noon on Sunday. October 3-5 at Lutheran Memorial Camp –

$150 per person. Escape to the Cape - Fall Colors Journey The popular Fall Colors Journey is back for 2008! This year’s journey will take us east to experience the unique charm and beauty of Cape Cod. Highlights will include whale-watching, lighthouse visits, and the Cape Cod National Seashore. In addition, we will cruise the historic Hudson River, tour West Point Military Academy, and visit the FDR Presidential Library and Museum. Quaint New England villages, sites of historic and natural interest, and unique shops and restaurants are all part of the experience. The best part, however, is the fun, Christian fellowship, and worship shared with fellow travelers! Travel is by comfortable motor coach, and accommodations are of a ‘Comfort Inn’ standard. “adventure on wheels.” This includes all transportation,
lodging, baggage handling, group excursions, and most meals. A
$500 non-refundable deposit per person is due by August 1, with
the balance due by September 1. There is a $25 discount per
person if your registration and deposit are received by June
15.
